Purveyor of the noticeable last five percent of coffee making quality. It's rare to find it, with most brushed-wood coffee shops around the world being too rushed to extract the last bit of flavour. Some seats with plugs, small pastry selection l, and street wear to buy.
Good chai latte, love the aesthetic and the interior, they have a place for work/studying upstairs, but it only has one big table, plenty of plugs though:)
YAYU is undoubtedly the best place for specialty coffee in all of Athens. I had the pleasure of staying in the city for several months, and YAYU became my go-to spot. Everytime, I looked forward to spending time in YAYU, where there are always two types of coffee to choose from. They also have a selection of beans from famous roasters available for purchase on the shelf. I must mention their cookies, which are absolutely the best I've ever had. I highly recommend picking something sweet to accompany your coffee—you definitely won't regret it! What truly makes YAYU exceptional is the owner and the staff. The owner is the kindest, friendliest, and most helpful person in the world, and the same goes for the baristas. Everyone is incredibly kind and welcoming, which adds to the YAYU's charm and creates an atmosphere that you'll want to return to again and again. YAYU is not only amazing for its space and excellent coffee but also for the personal and friendly approach of the owner and baristas. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that there is a fully equipped and very pleasant co-working space located above the café. This is a huge plus for those looking for a productive place to work. I highly recommend visiting YAYU! I will miss this place after returning home, and whenever I get the chance, I will gladly come back.
Best flat white and matcha latte ever!! I loved the Honduras coffee beans, it is something special. The place has a modern, minimalistic and tranquil vibe where you can enjoy your coffee with friends. The owner gave me advice on the different kinds of beans and he always welcomes you with a smile. Great way to start your day :) I cant wait to have another coffee there!
One of the new coffee houses in heart of Athens , nice location and there coffee high quality I tried there flat white it was nice and balanced , good job and keep going .
this is an excellent coffee shop. their flat white is delicious and milk always is expertly steamed/foamed. pastries are also very good. Nikos and the whole team at YAYU are kind and genuinely relate to customers. it is this focus on building and maintaining a community that makes me want to come here every day.
